Carbon footprint reduction

VHIT needs to maintain the levels ofcarbon footprintat zero, with an action ofefficiencycontinuous energy.

The structure is composed of:

  • 550 depended
    • Processing areas, assembly, logistics,
      canteen, offices and laboratories for a total of 21,700 m2 covered
    • Cannon: 2 hot air generators of 500 kW each.
    • Offices: 2 natural gas boilers of 310 kW each and 2 refrigeration units of 77 kW

    Objective:

    Implementation of a control strategyof the production process of>< environmental air conditioning, both hot and hot, aimed at keeping the carbon footprint of the site at zero andreducing energy costs.

Results obtained:

As we see in the previous graph, the performance test carried out showed, net of climatic conditions, a reduction in CO2 emissions due to the HVAC system of 18.7%.

VHIT simultaneously achieved economic savings to the same extent: 18.7%. An excellent result, given the complexity of the case.
